The 2026 World Youth Development Forum opened on June 15 in Wuhan, Hubei Province, under the theme "Youth Drive Development for a Better World". The forum has brought together around 500 onsite participants, including heads of UN agencies, ministers of youth affairs from various countries, leaders of youth organizations, key representatives of youth development projects, and outstanding young delegates across all sectors from over 120 countries. The WYDF serves as a multilateral platform for dialogue among policymakers, youth organizations, youth movements and global stakeholders, and plays a positive role in advancing youth agenda, advocating youth action, promoting global and youth development.
