The 2025 World Youth Development Forum opened today with the theme "Unleash Youth Potential for Global Development". A total of 500 participants, including youth affairs ministers, heads of youth organizations, youth leaders from various sectors, and key members of youth projects from over 100 countries and 17 international organizations, attended the opening ceremony and plenary sessions.

At the forum, 12 youth ministers, heads of youth organizations, and leaders of international organizations engaged in in-depth discussions with youth representatives in a face-to-face setting. Seven young people participated in extensive Q&A sessions, jointly exploring "the possibilities of potential" and listening to the critical voices of young people worldwide.

Three outcomes were released at the forum, including the the launch of the International Youth Advocacy on Unleash Youth Potential for Global Development, the launch of the 100 Excellence Actions of the Action Plan for Global Youth Development 2025, and the launch of the Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development.
