(www.wydf.org.cn)   18:36, June 11, 2026

This program aims to equip young African leaders aged 8 to 16 with creative and responsible digital skills, fostering leadership development and promoting the safe and ethical use of technology. The initiative organizes face-to-face engagements with thought leaders, masterclasses, and mentorship programs, while also collaborating with UNESCO to develop a digital learning platform.

Since its launch, the program has directly benefited more than 500 students, teachers, and community leaders in underserved areas across Ghana’s Eastern, Ashanti, and Volta regions. Its “Tech Empowerment for Girls” initiative has successfully trained 300 female students in Scratch programming and cybersecurity awareness, significantly increasing their interest in STEM careers. In April 2026, the TIDNetic Center will officially launch, offering localized courses in technology, innovation, and design, alongside one-on-one mentorship opportunities. The program also hosts monthly TIDNetic Dialogue webinars featuring alumni of the World Youth Development Forum to share experiences and further expand community impact.
