Many people regard a youth forum as nothing more than a group of young people sitting together to talk about the future. However, during the 2026 World Youth Development Forum, Yang Xinmeng, a journalist from CGTN, discovered that the most compelling stories usually unfold outside the conference halls: some participants pitch their projects at roadshows, some look for business partners, and others consult enterprises on how to practically apply technologies on the ground. Travelling between Shanghai and Wuhan, youth representatives from more than 120 countries are not just discussing "how to change the world", but also striving to answer the critical question of "how to deliver real, tangible changes".
