Xiao Siyun, who is currently majoring in Smart City Management Technology at Yunnan Land and Resources Vocational College, is the core lead of Kunming Xijia Technology Co., Ltd.

The company’s Smart Three-Dimensional Agriculture Integrated Aquaculture and Aquaponics Equipment Program addresses issues including extensive farming and breeding, environmental pollution and low income levels among residents living along rivers and lakes in Yunnan. It has independently developed intelligent equipment for aquaponics, enabling composite land use and higher recycling efficiency of water resources. It leverages technology to protect the ecosystem and drives income growth through industrial development, advancing green development across the region.

Facing individual farmers, family farms, and aquaculture cooperatives around Fuxian Lake, the program provides integrated solutions of intelligent monitoring, automatic control, solar-battery complementary power supply, and ecological recycling aquaculture, curbing water eutrophication at the source and protecting plateau lake ecology. It improves land utilization rate by 50%, driving stable income increases for more than 80 farming households. The "fish-vegetable symbiosis" intelligent equipment has obtained 1 authorized design patent, filed 2 invention patents, 3 utility model patents and 7 computer software copyrights.

The program has jointly built 1 rural revitalization base with Chenggong Wanxichong, established the Yuxi Jiangchuan Cooperative, benefiting local farmers. It helps farmers increase production by 412 catties of fish and 374 catties of lettuce per mu. The program has outstanding ecological benefits, with water quality improved from Class V to Class III, water resource conservation of 65%, zero use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, reduction of heavy metals and pesticide residues by 80%, and electricity savings of 20%.
