数字技术如何赋能青年发展？这一主题凝聚了中外青年的目光。10月31日，2023年世界青年发展论坛青年数字发展主题论坛在北京成功举办。国际组织驻华机构代表，国外数字领域学者、企业家代表等青年领导人热烈交流研讨，300余名中外青年通过线上线下方式参加论坛。

　　How can digital technologies empower youth development? This theme has attracted the attention of young people all over the world. On October 31, the Thematic Forum for Digital Development of the 2023 World Youth Development Forum is successfully held in Beijing. Representatives of international organizations in China, foreign scholars in the digital field, entrepreneurs and other youth leaders exchange views and discussions, with more than 300 young people from home and abroad participating in the forum online and offline.

　　中华全国青年联合会副主席夏帕克提、联合国儿童基金会驻华代表桑爱玲、西安交通大学校长王树国、国际劳工组织中国和蒙古局副局长戴晓初、联合国亚太经社可持续商业网络主席林家礼、首钢集团党委副书记胡雄光等中外嘉宾出席论坛并致辞。

　　The forum is attended and addressed by Chinese and foreign guests, including Shapkat Wushur, Vice President of All-China Youth Federation, Amakobe Sande, UNICEF Representative to China, Wang Shuguo, President of Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Dai Xiaochu, Deputy Director of ILO Country Office for China and Mongolia, Lee G. Lam, Chair of UN ESCAP Sustainable Business Network, Hu Xiongguang, Deputy Party Secretary of Shougang Group, etc.

　　全国青联副主席夏帕克提表示，世界各国实现数字化发展的道路各有不同，但不管走的是哪一条道路，青年都是推动数字发展的先锋力量。他强调，全国青联愿与各国合作伙伴一道，携手以数字技术赋能青年发展，引领青年以数字创新助力全球发展，共同推进全球发展倡议，助力落实联合国2030年可持续发展议程，为建设美好、安全、可持续发展的数字世界注入青春动能。

　　Shapkat Wushur, Vice President of All-China Youth Federation, states that countries around the world have different paths to achieve digital development, but no matter which path they take, the youth are the vanguard force to promote digital development. He stresses that All-China Youth Federation is willing to work with partners from all countries to empower youth development with digital technology, lead youth to contribute to global development with digital innovation, jointly promote the Global Development Initiative, and help implement the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

　　联合国儿童基金会驻华代表桑爱玲在致辞中表示，数字化技能对年轻人未来的成功至关重要，但全球约有27亿人处于离线状态。她强调，要弥合这些数字鸿沟，促进世界级的数字学习机会，以确保每个孩子能不间断地进入数字世界。

　　Amakobe Sande, UNICEF Representative to China, says that although digital skills are crucial for young people's future success, some 2.7 billion people worldwide have no access to internet. She stresses the need to bridge these digital divides and promote world-class digital learning opportunities so that every child has uninterrupted access to the digital world.

　　国际劳工组织中国和蒙古局副局长戴晓初在致辞中说，国际劳工组织已为2500多万年轻人提供数字技能。他表示，技术和数字化将为年轻人提供获得充分、富有成效和体面工作的机会。

　　Dai Xiaochu, Deputy Director of ILO Country Office for China and Mongolia, says that the ILO has provided digital skills to more than 25 million young people. He states that technology and digitalization will provide young people with opportunities to obtain full, productive and decent work.

　　论坛上，各国青年领导人高度赞赏中国在数字经济发展和应用数字技术赋能青年发展等方面所取得的成就。热点话题研讨环节，联合国开发计划署亚太局区域青年项目经理萨文达·拉纳松加分享了全球青年数字发展现状与前景，他表示，联合国开发计划署的数字愿景是开启机遇，赋能青年。西安交通大学校长王树国就新技术革命背景下青年的使命与发展发表演讲。美国国际青年基金会主席、首席执行官苏珊·雷切尔分享了数字发展带来的机遇与挑战。企业家代表、拼多多高级副总裁王坚从平台经济角度出发，认为在数字经济领域，新青年已成长为新经济业态的重要新生力量，发挥着蓬勃的创造力。微软中国政府事务副总裁率鹏则聚焦数字技能对青年的塑造。GE医疗全球执行副总裁、中国总裁兼首席执行官张轶昊结合行业发展表示，医疗科技发展需要无界创新，数字医疗未来需要青年人才。

　　At the forum, youth leaders from all countries speak highly of China's achievements in the development of digital economy and the application of digital technologies to empower youth development. Savinda Ranathunga, Regional Youth Project Manager of UNDP Asia Pacific, describes the current situation and prospects of global youth digital development. Wang Shuguo, President of Xi 'an Jiaotong University, deliveres a speech on the mission and development of the youth in the context of new technological revolution. Susan Reichle, President and CEO of the International Youth Foundation, USA, shares the opportunities and challenges brought by digital development. Wang Jian, Senior Vice President of Pinduoduo, China, believes that in the field of digital economy, new youth have grown into an important new force of new economic formats. Shuai Peng, Vice President of China Government Affairs, focuses on the role of digital skills in shaping youth. Zhang Yihao, Group Vice President, GE Health Care/President&CEO, GE Healthcare China, says that the development of medical technology requires unbounded innovation, and the future of digital health needs young talents.

　　关于青年数字技能提升的话题，西非国家经济共同体青年和体育发展中心主任弗朗西斯·库克·恩秋阿瓜尼、国际劳工组织高级青年就业专家苏珊娜·普埃尔托·冈萨雷也分别发表看法。

　　Francis Chuks Njoaguani, Director of ECOWAS Youth and Sports Development Centre, and Susana Puerto Gonzalez, ILO Senior Youth Employment Specialist, also give their views on the topic of youth digital skills upgrading.

　　闪电发言环节，来自多国的全球青年发展行动计划典型项目青年骨干分享数字技术如何赋能青年发展。中国杭州问尔信息技术公司项目负责人王振阳介绍了如何利用AI技术帮助青年一代养成良好习惯。澳大利亚未来黑客“小创意大生意”创业和能力建设首席执行官纳撒尼尔·迪翁、黑山“漂移”创业培训负责人乌罗斯·布拉托维克分别介绍了团队项目在帮助青年就业创业方面作出的贡献。南非AYA非洲供应商多样化联合创始人罗瑞森·蒂莫西·普雷斯·马杰瓦菲介绍了数字技术在赋能中小企业上发挥的重要作用。津巴布韦前线研究所讲师麦卡利斯特·塔瓦纳·尼安多罗分享了团队为互满爱人与人国际运动联合会培养青年人才。中国食铁兽科技公司创始人史明辉介绍了智能分布式灌溉系统如何促进绿色农业的发展。

　　During the lightning talks session, the youth leaders of typical programs of the Action Plan for Global Youth Development from various countries share how digital technologies empower youth development, including Wang Zhenyang, Program Leader of Hangzhou Wen’er Information Technology Co., Ltd. from China, Nathaniel Diong, Founder and CEO of Future Minds Network from Australia, Uroš Bulatović, President of the Union of Young Entrepreneurs from Montenegro, Rosisang Timothy Praise Majwafi, Business Development Director of AYA Africa Vendor Diversification from South Africa, Macllister Tawanda Nyandoro, Lecturer at the Zimbabwe Frontline Institute from Zimbabwe, Shi Minghui, Founder of Iron Eater Technology from China, etc.

　　论坛现场还发布了世界青年发展论坛青年数字领袖研修计划。该计划由世界青年发展论坛秘书处和国际劳工组织主办，由中国青年报社、广州市青年联合会和KAB全国推广办公室承办。该计划为全球年轻一代的数字成长提供资源、支持和机会，帮助他们在数字时代实现可持续发展目标，共同推动全球发展。国际青年研究伙伴计划相继发布，该计划面向全球青年英才研究团队征集研究课题，课题优先考虑“乡村振兴”“数字技术赋能”“科技创新”“绿色发展”“国际合作伙伴关系”“文明互鉴”等研究领域。

　　The WDYF Young Digital Leaders Training Program is launched at the forum. This program is initiated by All-China Youth Federation and the International Labor Organization, and implemented by China Youth Daily, Guangzhou Youth Federation and KAB National Promotion Office. The program aims to provide resources, support and opportunities for the growth of global youth in the digital field to help them achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in the digital age and jointly promote global development. The International Youth Research Partnership Program is then launched to solicit research projects from young talent research teams around the world, with priority given to research areas such as "rural revitalization", "digital technology empowerment", "scientific and technological innovation", "green development", "international partnerships" and "mutual learning among civilizations".

　　In addition, the forum sets up a youth dialogue session, where youth delegates from many countries and representatives of international organizations in China discuss how youth can use digital technology to help achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

　　据了解，举办世界青年发展论坛是习近平主席在2022年6月24日全球发展高层对话会上亲自宣布的重要倡议。青年数字发展主题论坛是2023年世界青年发展论坛四场主题论坛之一，由中华全国青年联合会、世界青年发展论坛组委会主办，中国青年报社、中国青年创业就业基金会、KAB全国推广办公室承办。

　　The holding of the World Youth Development Forum is an important initiative that President Xi Jinping announced at the High-level Dialogue on Global Development on June 24, 2022. The Thematic Forum for Digital Development is one of the four thematic forums of the 2023 World Youth Development Forum. It is hosted by All-China Youth Federation and the Organizing Committee of the World Youth Development Forum, and organized by China Youth Daily, China Foundation for Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment, and KAB National Promotion Office.
